Under the flag of Youth Alliance, we represented the organization in Ethiopia as part of the study visit that took place from 24.04.2023 to 30.04.2023 in Addis Ababa.  The event resulted in familiarizing the participants with the local system in terms of youth involvement and volunteering when it comes to society's resilience in crisis management and crisis situations. Together with our partners from Serbia - Ana and Vlade Divac and Italy - European Research Institute, we came to the conclusion that there is a strong potential for the involvement of young people in society, during period of crisis.  Moreover, that Ethiopia has many active CSOs, which actively work on resolving the issues that the community faces, from unemployment to health and reproductive rights.

In a country with 120 million people where 70% are young people, the potential is immerse and the possibilities are endless. However, the problem of lack representation and participation of the marginalized groups in the decision - making processes persists.
